The title, taken from a 1966 movie (Height of the Cold War) in which a Russian submarine became stranded off the coast of Massachusetts, and the family the Russian crew encounter believed it was a Russian invasion. This piece was inspired by the cozy relationship Former President Trump had with the Russian leader, Valdimir Putin.
