The lynching of black men in the United States is a genocidal atrocity that has never been fully addressed by this country. One hallmark of lynched, black Americans was that the genitalia was often mutilated. Did the size or perceived size of the black man’s phallus initiate feelings of inadequacy in the minds of the perpetrators?
